Task Types & Constraints

Define factory tasks with their labor rate ($/hr) and default minutes. Labor rate is set here at the task level — it does not change by tier. Tiers only vary the minutes allocated to each task. Mark tasks as constrained when bound to a limited physical resource.

Resources that constrain tasks. Edit counts to model adding capacity.

Constraint Summary

Process Definition — 3 Eko File Tiers

Define the step-by-step factory process for each tier. Each step references a Task Type (which carries its own labor rate from Tab 1) and specifies only the minutes for that tier. Cost = (minutes ÷ 60) × task labor rate.

Sub-Category Assignment — Walmart Approved Departments

Input at the sub-category level within each Walmart department (Section 8.2 OF1). Departments are computed roll-ups. 210K items across 12 departments, 67 categories. Click a department header to collapse/expand.

Production Planning — Merch Calendar × Stage Capacity

Maps the merchandising calendar to factory stage utilization. 80% of stages follow the linear plan; 20% reserved for opportunistic work (reshoots, other clients, one-offs). Flags months where demand exceeds 80% capacity.

Scenario Task Overrides (Minutes Δ)

Adjust minutes delta per task. Negative = time saved. Check "Unconstrain" to remove a task from its resource dependency.

Scenario Resource Overrides (+/−)

Add or remove physical resources.
